When I was young, I used to watch my grandmother pray the rosary each and every day. When she passed away, I was given her rosary beads. I have come to realize how important praying the rosary is to me. A rosary can be an heirloom piece, a meaningful gift, and a magnificent work of art.

Praying the rosary is an opportunity to meditate, to reflect, and to participate in the joys and sorrows of Jesus and Our Mother, Mary. It can be very comforting and bring you true peace of mind.

While I loved praying with my grandmother’s rosary beads, they seemed very delicate to me. I decided to create a rosary of my own that looked as though it were an antique, but that was strong enough to use daily. I discovered how much I loved the whole process. From picking out which gemstones to use ~ to pairing them with intricate crucifixes, crosses, and centers ~ to sitting down in my little workroom in front of my window working on each piece link by link. I enjoyed this so much that I soon realized this was what I wanted to do with my life.

There is a quote I have in my office.

And so I did. I decided to take a leap of faith, fine tune my craft, and put my work out there.

I take great pride in everything I make. Whether it be rosaries, religious jewelry, or custom made pieces, each piece is handcrafted with the greatest of care. Designing and creating these pieces have become a true passion of mine.

I love the look of antique and heirloom rosaries, ones that are special and meaningful. I use crucifixes, crosses, centers, and medals that are made in Italy. They are made in a region of Italy where they produce the finest quality medals in the world. Local Italian craftsmen have spent hundreds of years perfecting their craft. Their work remains unmatched in longevity, quality, and beauty.

My pieces are made using natural gemstones. Just like us, no two are alike. They have a unique, earthy quality about them that cannot be duplicated. Gemstones are magnificent and truly a gift from God. They are the natural treasures of the earth. Semi-precious gemstone beads are a passion of mine. They have been treasured all throughout history for both their beauty and the belief that they are instilled with healing qualities. Using gemstones is the perfect way to make each rosary truly unique.

It is also important to me that all of my pieces, especially the rosaries, are strong, durable, and made to last. Therefore, I make them using strong metal components so you can use your rosary every day. I use stainless steel chain, wire, clasps, and findings for all of my pieces.
Stainless steel has many advantages.
* It is an extremely strong and durable metal, unlike sterling silver or gold which are very soft. In fact, it is among the strongest of all jewelry metals.
* It does not oxidize, unlike most metals, and therefore will not tarnish over time.
* It is hypoallergenic because it is a pure metal and will not irritate your skin.
* It is much more durable than sterling silver or gold.
* It is very easy to clean. Just wipe it with a soft cloth.
* Stainless steel is also quite beautiful. It gives each piece an antique and vintage look.
